Learn structural engineering on real buildings
We are a small office, so an engineer who joins us sees the whole of a project rather than one corner of it: the scheme, the analysis model, the reinforcement drawings and the site. In a first year that can mean a hospital, a hotel, an industrial building and a residential tower, in ETABS, STAAD.Pro and RCDC, with a Director checking the work and explaining the corrections.
What you will do
- Build analysis models and design real reinforced concrete structures
- Prepare reinforcement drawings that get built
- Visit site and answer the contractor’s questions
- Write Design Basis Reports and calculation packages
Who we look for
- B.E. or M.E. in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Curiosity about how buildings stand up, and why they sometimes do not
- Care with drawings and with numbers
- Marathi and English, and the manners to work with people on site
